HISTORY

Throughout the years, St. Josemaria Escriva Montessori School has maintained a commitment to providing the highest-caliber educational experience for its students. St. JMS was founded in 1994; it began as an inspiration stemming from Mrs. Cora Gonzales’ apostolate of teaching catechism to the little children in the community. The children attending are preschoolers who need close supervision and guidance, and should be molded with Christian principles.

The school was established to promote Christian ideals and academic excellence among young people at the earliest stages. ST. JMS began offering pre-school programs in 1994 and has been recognized by the Department of Education, Culture, and Sports. Its elementary level has been approved for operation. Our learning community flourishes in a well-located and safe environment conducive to well-rounded educational achievement. Small class size and individualized attention contribute strongly to positive growth among our students. St. JMS has strong, positive support from faculty and parents.

The school is named after ST. JOSEMARÍA ESCRIVA, fundadora de OPUS DEI. He is the one who inspired the owner to start the school to help the children in nearby subdivisions and suburbs grow in age, in wisdom, and in grace.
